Frequently Asked Questions

What is Orem Reads?

Orem Reads is our annual programming series centered around one book we read together as a community. Some of the books we’ve read in the past are To Kill a Mockingbird, Gilead, Refuge, and Summerlost. This year, we are reading Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.

How do I get a copy of Little Women?

Copies of Little Women are available for each household while supplies last. Visit the Main Floor Reference Desk in the south wing of the library for a copy and more information about Orem Reads.

How do I complete the quilt found on the Orem Reads flyer?

Each sticker for the quilt corresponds to a different Orem Reads: Little Women activity. Once you complete the activity, you place the sticker in the corresponding space on the quilt. (No comments or submissions are necessary for completion.)

Once you’ve completed all twelve activities, you’ll have a finished quilt! Email a photo of the finished quilt to oplprograms@gmail.com by October 17 to be entered into a drawing for Little Women prizes.
