Get a Book

Thank you for participating in Orem Reads this year! The purpose of Orem Reads is to share with our community by reading a book together, as well as provide activities and cultural events to enhance the reading.

This year we will be reading Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel Little Women. With themes of friendship, work, and true love, Little Women has inspired countless readers, and charmed with its semi-autobiographical depiction of the passage from childhood to womanhood.

Each year as part of Orem Reads, the Orem Public Library gifts a copy of a book to community members who wish to participate. When you pick up your book, you will also receive the Create a Quilt: Little Women Activity Tracker and sticker set (which can also be downloaded below). Patrons who complete all twelve activities and email a photo of their finished quilt to by October 17 will be entered into a drawing for Little Women prizes.

To get your free copy of Little Women, visit the Main Floor Reference Desk from September 14 to October 17.

We will give out books as long as supplies last. Please take only one book per household.
